Meet our team
Talented professionals, committed to success and driven by passion.
Shawn Powers
Shawn leads acquisitions and asset management for CASA REI Group’s Class B and C portfolio. He came to multifamily after 25 years in IT, most of them leading infrastructure and operations teams, and brings the same discipline for systems, budgets and execution to every property.
He holds the National Apartment Association’s Certified Apartment Portfolio Supervisor (CAPS) and Independent Rental Owner Professional (IROP) designations, is active in the Apartment Association of Greater Dallas, the Texas Apartment Association and the National Apartment Association, and is a Marine Corps veteran.
Amanda Powers
Amanda provides financial oversight for CASA REI Group, reviewing the company’s accounting, financial reporting and tax work.
She is a CPA with more than 22 years of accounting experience, and holds a BBA in Accounting and an MS in Taxation from Texas A&M University’s Mays Business School.
